From your firm's Word template to a reviewed, recorded document.
One document, eight steps. Each step below says whether it is in the product today.
The path of one document
Eight steps, in this order. A step without a label is in the product today; a labelled step is not yet.
-
Step 1
Start from your own template
You bring the Word documents your firm already uses. Each version records where it came from and who reviewed it, and nothing is published without a second person.
- Template provenance record
- Nothing publishes without a second person
-
Step 2
Mark what changes
The blanks and the optional clauses in the template are found and proposed to you. You decide which ones are right.
- Word template analysis In development
-
Step 3
Build the questionnaire
Each blank becomes a question, and each optional clause becomes a yes-or-no question with a rule. The questionnaire is accepted only if it fits the template exactly.
- Guided questionnaires from your templates In development
-
Step 4
Your client answers
You send your client a link. They answer without creating an account, can save and come back, and their answers are frozen when they submit.
- Client intake portal In development
-
Step 5
The document is assembled
The answers fill the template. A document with an unknown or unanswered blank is refused, not guessed.
- Finished Word documents from the answers In development
-
Step 6
A person at your firm reviews it
The document starts unapproved. A reviewer approves it before release, and the person who asked for it cannot be the one who approves it.
- Review before release In development
-
Step 7
It is signed
The final document is signed electronically.
- E-signature Planned
-
Step 8
Every step is recorded
Who generated, reviewed, approved, released and downloaded โ with the time. The record holds identifiers and hashes, never the text of an answer.
- Recorded approvals
